Methinks angry woman in the OP's post was more used to commuting by car rather than bike. In a car you can yell whatever you want at whoever you want and no one hears you (apart from your poor passenger perhaps). It's like the tree falling in the forest.
I just KNOW that when I've made the odd error of judgement on my bike that the driver behind me is probably cursing me to hell but because I can't hear him I don't tend to think about it. Do it to another cyclist or pedestrian and it becomes far more personal - not to mention embarrassing!

Also, she was riding an MTB on the road. Been there, done that, sweated right through the t-shirt and promptly bought a road bike with the next pay-check - to hell with whether I could afford it or not!

The guy I have seen with the Afl helmet on is Black, so that means there is more than one of them!!! Oh and his bike is'nt as smart as that either.

Its due to the people in London and how most of them are.
There are a few Londoners that are normal though.
A large amount are all completely crazy

Saw that mad woman again this morning !!!! It gave me bit of a shock actualy as she flew by in the opposite direction on her massive blue mtb, I noticed she has a very distinctive hand signal to pull out past a parked car, she puts her arm down by her thigh and just flicks her wrist out!!!

She clearly did'nt recognise me, infact did'nt even notice I was there as she is usualy so focused on her constant forward propulsion!

Am a bit worried now as this means she lives or commutes nearer to my house than I originally thought!!!
Might have to get that father christmas outfit out as a disguise!!!
