One of Britain’s biggest engineering companies has banned staff from
travelling on bicycles after declaring them too dangerous. Jacobs
Babtie advises local authorities on sustainable transport projects –
including how to get more people to switch from cars to bikes. You can
read the company’s self-acclaimed cycling credentials on its web page
here. The Times paper exposed the hypocrisy in its article, which
includes an unequivocal response from CTC director Kevin Mayne.

Excellent link Lefire, they deserve all the ridicule and loss of business they get. Clearly the decision makers in this company are flaming morons.

If they applied the same logic, then they shouldn't walk either - it's more dengerous per km travelled!
