41.6mph! On the 'bent bike.

Faster than my Giant Defy road bike by about 3mph down the hill today from Harthill towards Tattenhall for those who know the area.

And I had to bale out early as I was approaching some skittish horses on the road - but that was plenty quick enough, thank you. 'Bents are quick!

They certainly are! @Scoosh descended the Bogoulie on Arran at 55mph with panniers on. :wacko:

I went down at 45mph on an upright.

55mph! 41.6 on a rural road with lumps and bumps and a side turning is about as fast as my nerves can cope with! And my 'bent has a mid height seat, I hate to think how much quicker a lowracer goes.

The road was freshly resurfaced, the sight-lines are great, there was no traffic ... and the result was (in kph) ...
