One of my colleagues gave me a ticket for the team presentation ceremony for the Tour de France riders which is being held at the First Direct Arena in Leeds. I was expecting it to be in the third tier 'nose bleed' seats. I was wrong.

It's three rows from the front in Block C directly in front of the stage!

I think that I'm going to have a pleasant evening on Thursday.

No but I'l be baking a pie for Woodrup Cycles when I get back from the 'do'.

it's going to be a busy weekend.

Thursday - school, then the arena then pie making.

Friday - breakfast appointment with a pal. Lunchtime pie appointment with Woodrup Cycles. Emergency pie supplies to be purchased. Catch evening train to London for FNRttC

Saturday - pedal to Southend from Hyde Park Corner. Distribute spare pies on FNRttC. Catch train back to Leeds.

Sunday - leisurely bike ride somewhere local. The first day of the weekend that will be free of pie related activities.
