Working out a UK town to town route help please

I'm thinking of doing a little touring next year and wondered if there was such a thing as an online route finder for cycle friendly routes.

I use bikehike.co.uk - select the OSM option for cycle routes.

Depends on your definition!

Sustrans has a number of routes, which are not to everyone's taste are a reasonable starter

Bike Route Toaster has a "cycle option" (OSM) that shows these routes

Cycle-n-Sleep gives more details of the long distance routes.

Apart from that it is up to you I have planned a whole week to visit just three particular Historic Churches / ancient sites. Another time I went to a Conference for work and simply spent a week going home!



Whatever you decide don't push too much, and allow time to explore and discover

www.viamichelin.co.uk has a cycle friendly option.

You need to be aware that not all towns have cycle friendly connections.

http://www.cyclestreets.net tried it a couple of times on local routes, quite interesting choices sometimes but will give you bike paths etc.
