It's being shown on the norwegian state channel - http://tv.nrk.no/

You'll probably need some kind of plug-in to watch it outside of Norway. Alternatively, there will probably be an Indian channel showing it. I don't know about British tv.
I'm stocking up the fridge with Tiger beer, and pickled herring and cheese-doodles, for the three weeks.

I used to be alright at chess. Now, I can't think more than a couple of moves ahead.

It seems to me Anand has the upper hand in this game. Magnus would be happy with a draw.

Chess fever has really taken off here. It's surreal.

Magnus Carlsen front and back pages of the tabloids and broadsheets. On advertising hoardings. Chess sets/boards flying out of the shops. People, actually, talking about chess at work, and busstops, etc. Father-in-law was at the dentists yesterday, and a cheer went up in the waiting room when Carlsen won. The online local guide has a list of venues where you can have a drink and play. The final is shown live on the main state channel, and lots of chess-related programs and news reports all over the media.

It will all be back to normal when the cross-country skiing starts.
