Just seen the Norwegian equivalent of the Fnrttc. This was the Snratf - the Sunday night ride along the Fjord. It was the Lødingen Sykkelklubb, about eleven cyclists.

Half past midnight just south of Harstad and it is still daylight.

Arriving Tromsø.

It's called 'The Paris of the North'. I worked on a biulding project there a few years ago. Solid work all day for 12 days. I earned a lot of money. Everyone went home after the job was finished except me who stayed for the weekend in the free accomodation. I spent everything in those two days.

Coming into Kirkenes. Last port of call before turning around and heading back to Bergen.

The journey started Saturday. I think if I took this trip I'd have to wait until I'm seventy as it's a little sedentary. There was a jogger on the boat for a while and he was timed at 1:15 a lap.

I wonder if there's any other journeys or adventures to be filmed live that would top this? Perhaps sledding to the south pole would be a little monotonous. Climbing Everest?

Plonk a camera on a Cal Mac ferry and see all of the islands!

How about some of the great train journeys, such as the Trans Siberian, that Chinese one to Tibet, the long distance ones in Australia (The Indian Pacific?) or one in the U.S. that goes from Seattle or California to Florida!
