I would say it is a car made in the UK.
We have after all accepted Ford as British but they are and have always been a foreign company.

So we should really embrace the Hondas, Toyotas and Peugeots made here. It seems a bit daft thinking a GM car made in Germany is British just because they slap a Vauxhall badge on it.

UK car manufacture is actually doing rather well and holding to a level of the mid 70s. And doing so with about a quarter of the workers and with happy staff that are not going on strike every five minutes. It is an area of the economy that has got sorted out rather well.

Bit like british energy companies then or bicycles (please note 3 a week is hardly mass production so don't chuck in the excellent products of Mercian. Dave Yates and many more)
