Worst ride home yet. Shiney new bike frame, punctured then crashed.

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune Panter ! That was just sooooo unlucky! Hope your finger gets better soon.........I'm off the bike at the mo due to an injured finger but I didn't fall off my bike I was just fettling!

I was very lucky, no major damage although I think I'll have to have a trip to A&E later as I can't straighten my wrist.
The bikes not too bad, buckled wheels, broken caliper, bent bars, missing light that I can see although I haven't fully investigated it yet. It's just so sickening it was on my brand new shiny frame!
As I say though, compared to a lot of prangs, mine was extremely minor and luckily I only had 4 miles to walk back to work where I could grab the van. Walking the remaining 13 miles home wouldn't have been much fun!

I'm hoping the police will chase up the dogs owners, there are only two large houses down that stretch of road where it happened so it shouldn't be difficult.
I don't want any compensation, just the bike being repaired would be a major result.

sadly funds are too tight at the moment for any upgrades, if I end up paying for it myself it will be the cheapest set I can find on ebay!

Erm......... didn't tell the boss - comp bars weren't in Evan's Manchester for the Logic profile.. only Pro or WCS - WCS was only £5 more.... PS Bike was to be Pro spec, but LBS could not get Pro bars.... 2 years ago.. oh well....
