On the other hand, Starbucks baristas are famous for misspelling names on cups, and their coffee is shite, so maybe there is a connection?

It is the "your" that is unforgivable for me. You would have thought either the person commissioning the sign or the printer would have noticed?

It could be worse I suppose, years ago whilst doing my first post university job (counting potholes) I noticed the sales shop front of a cosmetic surgery offering gender reassignment. The sign stated,

"A Proffesional and Discreat Cossmetic Service."

I went in but only to point out the sign. The receptionist said I was wrong.

The likes of Starbucks seem to have turned coffee shops into confectioners.

Give the poor guy a brake. He's only trying to get you to break when you arrive and take a brake with some coffee and perhaps a slice of bred. It is a gr8 effort.
Maybe he sells some CD's and DVD's as well. Nice to take home and listen to on ur iPod.
