I bought the new Galaxy tab S yesterday and I honestly cannot believe how Samsung have made such a clear screen.
The video quality is amazing, I am finding it hard to put it down......blows my other HD tablet into the weeds.

Anyone else managed to get one, and have you any tips on using it.

I'm still using my Galaxy Tab 10.1, (the one with the screen pen), and have no need to buy another one until this one dies, and hopefully it'll last a long time yet.

Glad you like it though ^_^

[EDIT] just seen the price and I definitely hope mine keeps going now

I got mine on Thursday.
The screen is amazing, much better than the iPad, which I got rid of to get this one.

I'm posting from a NOOK tab. It's my OH's, I hink it was Sainsburys's own brand or something. It's brilliant. Much better than my Kindle Fire.

It's a fantastic screen for watching movies, but terrible for viewing photos - it's crazily over-saturated.

I have not stopped using this tablet since I bought it, it's so good, so I decided to see just how fast it is and by god its quick......

Very quick

And me, my 8.9 inch Galaxy Tab. I do like the sound of that GT S, but couldn't justify buying one while the old one still works, and couldn't afford to anyway.

I'll try and win one instead! (I have won 2 competitions already this year, and tablets often come up in prize lists.)

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I have a galaxy tab 10.1 as well. I love it, but I couldn't aford to buy the new one, but for me, samsung tablets are much better than apple ipads.

Um, you're measuring the speed of your net connection there, nothing to do with the speed of the tablet!

There is benchmarking software available if you want to test the speed of the tablet, though Samsung is known to cheat:

That is correct, but the tablet has to have the hardware to do this, at this moment I dont think there are any other tablets with this hardware, the ipad air models I tried before buying the Galaxy certainly didnt come anywhere near to these figures, in fact they fell short on the tab 4, I havent seen many computers that reach the speed this tablet can get at peak times on the web.

You're definitely confused about that. The Galaxy Tab S has got the same wifi specs as the iPad Air and iPad mini. 98.66Mbps is nothing special - I just did 104Mbps with my iPad, and that's a measure of my broadband speed, not the iPad.
