Well what a day today has been, woke up to brekkie in bed as a birthday treat, opened my cards and pressies, went for a job interview...........and got the job
After losing my job 3 weeks ago i've been job hunting like mad and today of all days it pays off, just one down fall.i'm working from home so theres no commuting to be done by bike which i was genuinely looking forward to,also working 12 hour shifts 6 days on 2 days off does'nt leave much cycling time, but i'll make the most of every minute i get on the pedals.A very good day indeed

Nice one Chris, congratulations

Jobhunting's no fun, it's not the interviews that bother me, it's the waiting afterwards.

Cheers for the comments,i was told at the interview that they was collecting information from all the candidates which would then be sent to head office for appraisal and selection,so i was expecting a 2 week wait, only to see 3 poor blokes go home with me being asked to stay behind, after a nice cuppa i was offered the job there and then.
Yup saturday is a strange day for interviews. The company is a rather large garage and breakdown recovery firm who is opening a new branch in Northampton and turns out were very keen for me to start asap, the benefits from emailing the c.v i suppose.

Bloody bell, 12hour day, 6 days a week?you will never be fit to ride after that. What sort of work is it?
Thats the only downfall to the job,the money is incredible though,i'll not always be working for the full 12 hour shift but will be on call
