Perhaps its the same phenomenon I raised in my Casualty post in Dialogue from the day...overplaying emotions, the more the better....its ridiculous :angry:

I have to admit the shameful point that I've watched it for most of the previous series, but I've finally seen sense and decided I can't be arsed with it any more and won't be watching this series :okay:

I was quite keen on it for a couple of series, but have now largely lost interest.

We have a long tradition of family light entertainment on Saturday night TV.

The likes of the X Factor - and Strictly - are in that tradition, but perhaps not the finest part of it.
