That's very nice.surprising what's kicking about.
TBH it's not one I've heard of.
Personally I would get it fixed up and everything working and if it's too big for you stick it on here for a profit. That is of course if you got it at the right price

Nice. Is that a TA chain set? Ring looks a bit worn but i see Spa are TA specialists. You can easily add a second ring if you wish.

Ohh nice find. Atala were a very old Italian brand who fell on hard times in the 1980s.

A very rough guess based on non- recessed brake fittings and what looks Like a 5 speed freewheel would be a pre-1978 frame , possibly Columbus SL?

according to the serial number its 1987 and it does have the bosses for front and rear derailors

Atala bikes were rare in the UK. Good find

Cranks look like Stronglight, and is that a Campag 2ng gen SR rear mech

BITD I wore Atala shoes.

I felt so sorry for it I had to rescue it fell a bit like an RSPCA warden for bikes

its been decided due to lack of space and daughter wanting a fast Italian bike now the bike will be rehomed
one snag the handle bar stem is stuck so once freed it will be put up for adoption.
yes the forks are pantographed as is some of the luggs
