Yellow not flourescent jacket

Hi there,

Struggling to find a windproof jacket in a nice yellow colour to match Ortleib panniers for my boyfriend for Christmas.

I have found the Altura Cropton Jacket in yellow for £24-46 but not sure about colour, does anyone have it?????

I've got one in my bag. It's yellow, but whether it's the same yellow as Ortlieb panniers I've no idea.

The ortleib panniers are a rich yellowy yellow, like the yellow of these little smilies .
I'm as my name suggests I have no knowledge of bikes but things looking pretty I'm an expert in and flourescent hi-vis yellow clashes so badly with the ortleib yellow it makes me want to cry.

If this is the Pannier your man has

Then the jacket is a good approximation to the colour of the pannier

I don't know how to break this to you, but I don't think your boyfriend will care if it matches or not.

You are so right! I wouldn't stand near the bike in hi-vis and he rides it all the way to work.
I have just tried ringing a bloke in a bike shop about it and I think he thought I was mad!

I have one of those jackets as well but it's at home. From memory I'd say it's more yellow than hi-vis yellow so should be a close match.

There's nothing wrong with trying to match things when the opportunity arises. You're probably right about it being a female thing.

I'm also considering getting a Polaris Satelite Jacket in SATURN YELLOW (of course) for nasty weather. Does anyone have this or opinions on it?
