Why is a team, in this case Jumbo Visma, allowed to ride the TdF in team colours that are predominantly yellow? It makes things difficult for the television viewer trying to pick out the Tour leader from shots of the peloton?

EF Will wear pink in the Giro and Ineos& Arkea will wear Red at La Vuelta. The teams wear the colour of their sponsors, the race jersey is a coincidence that it will blend with the team jerseys, rather than clashing

It didn't used to be allowed, with the Spanish ONCE team switching from yellow to pink for the Tour, but since the UCI World Tour formed, teams have been required to wear the same jerseys for the whole season except one race... and because so many races use yellow jerseys, they couldn't avoid them all.

Yep it's a pain. They should be made to change. Are they still doing yellow helmets for the leading team ? Half the lead group were in yellow helmets today.

Any thoughts on French contenders for the GC win? Does Alaphilippe have what it takes? Or Pinot or Bardet?

Thought experiment:
You are DS for Jumbo Visma. Which riders would you allow to gain a virtual lead of 20 minutes in a breakaway of 10-or-more riders?
And which would make you nervous in that situation?
