Ok, on the theme of " Celebrity " special editions, can we have suggestions for the next edition to be released?
Considering the fine words of Mr Double Barrell from the video it seems he might be after a Nobel prize. So I think we could well see a Volodymyr Zelenski special edition.

Looks rather like a Brexit edition:
A reliable connection broke, those who relied on it fell on the ground. The one in the lead has lost his followers and no way he will reach the target he promised. The people left behind may put as much energy as they can on the pedals: They are stuck. They have to pedal hard as they are in the highest gear and are still going nowhere. All progress has suddenly come to a full stop. Still the person on the wheel pretends "this is fine, I cannot see a problem" - but his control cables are broken loose and hitting the levers has no effect any more. He has hit a brick wall.

A pretty political edition it is.

One British bike manufacturer even rolled out a Coronation version this year... I think that would probably repelled and attracted buyers by equal degrees but I did get an email saying they still had (were trying to flog off) some of these special editions.

The brand will remain nameless but they are a prominent Cornish manufacturer

As someone who has spent quite a lot of time and money trying to shave weight from non T-Line bikes, I have to say their design dept did a decent job with the T-Line. When I first saw all the press stuff, it was obvious they'd looked at pretty much everything to shave weight whilst still keeping it suitable for everyday use (e.g. wheels with reasonable amount of spokes unlike some of the Asian offerings). The only thing I'd have liked is a wider gear range to keep it comparable to my S6L's. I was previously of the opinion they were just a bunch with some crayons, but they must have been busy for quite some time designing it and getting manufacturing set up. I put my money where my mouth is and went out and bought one, it's actually lighter than my carbon road bike.
Hopefully now they've got that sorted, they'll move on to other innovative stuff (more factory T-Line gearing options please if you're reading this!).

Brompton have at Eurobike shown (and kind of announced) a 12-speed, 4*3 based on the 4-speed derailleur and a hubgear, similar to the 6-speed. It is supposed to come on the P-Line next year, details are not publicaly known yet. But who knows: T-Line and P-Line share the advanced rear frame and the 4-speed gearing. So in theory it would be possible to have this on the T-Line as well. Would however be a weight penalty. We will see what happens.
