My Uncle Trevor lived in Yorkshire all of his life.
A large proportion of that life was spent in a small portion of Yorkshire: his shed.
He made stuff in his shed and when he died, he was buried with his beloved lathe.
So he could turn in his grave.
Nobody is perfect but, after being from Yorkshire, Lancashire is pretty closeIt's missing two words....
After Yorkshire.
For Yorkshire to be better than I think it is would be quite easy. Kick all the Yorkshire people out and the place would be almost as nice as Lancashire.
Is that the East Riding jokeThe ONLY county mentioned in the bible.
Because it is next to Yorkshire of course!![]()
Deported obviously although with leave to return every once in a whileSo, exactly how much did Lancashire improve once you left?
And I've always wondered: did you leave of your own free will or were you deported?
