Did it beat itself into a batter?
Darn auto correct combined with dyslexia! Arrrrr. Yes it is often so enraged with me that it does! perhaps it is it also why it stays risen!

One egg, 4 (heaped) tablespoons of plain flour 1/2 pint of whole milk and a pinch of salt in the blender and blitz it for 30 seconds then leave to stand for half an hour.
The secret is in getting the oil hot.
But I like individual small ones as opposed to a slice of a single large one. :hungry:

Been a Yorkshire man I offen get asked how to make them
Here's my recipe
Large Yorkshire pudding tray with a very little oil in to oven 200degrees
Full a coffee mug with plain flour
Then add eggs to the same mug but 2cm less in volume to flour
Then the same measurement of water and milk mix .. Mix the sweet holly Moses out of it add a pinch of salt your looking for double cream consistency
then into a hot pre heated oven fill the pudding trays to top cook for 25 mins enjoy
Try not to open the oven

Individuals, then you get 'equal' amounts. Very hot oil. If they aren't rising you aren't using enough eggs.
