It's funny that the two cyclists were coppers. It would've been even funnier if he had stopped, cos knowing Aussie cops the chap would have had a terrible accident while climbing out of his car.

Its embedded in their culture for reasons I can't fathom, but its perpetuated by successive governments and a media that is so rabid it makes the Daily Mail seem a calm and authoritative news source. That said, the Australians are stupid enough to keep believing it.

It's taxed and insured so why not although it shouldn't be parked half on the pavement.

No worse that the car in front of it parked on the pavement. The council have a downer simply because it's an APC, and such is the vitriol of their feigned indication they are completely overlooming conventional vehicles being parked in the same manner.
