Back in the days when I played rugby, I lent our full back my spare pair of shorts. Unknown to me they had been sitting in the bottom of my kit bag gradually soaking up a leaking bottle of shower gel. As the rain increased, he looked increasingly like he was emerging from a holiday resort foam party.

+1 for @SatNavSaysStraightOn's list. I regard it as a very wet commute when I realise that if I totally immersed myself in water and then let it run off, I wouldn't be any wetter. Shoes squelching, underwear soaking etc etc.

(happened once on my folder in a business suit. Suit survived, which I think means it probably machine washable)
