I take the centre of the road over a bridge that is quite narrow, double white lanes segregating the two sides meaning no overtake. There are railings along the side of the road so i really don't want to get squashed with some tosser like this trying to overtake, hence why the primary position!!
Doesn't stop him from overtaking before the brow of the hill and nearly hit an oncoming car which has to brake.


Basically all this is my fault from his point of view? what a tosser!

Was this not meant for commuting ? As I said on the video, awful driving and probably worth showing to your local plod. Even if you were gutter hugging it wouldn't of been safe for him to have passed you...it's also one thing to make a mistake, but to not realise it was your fault is another.

Bloody hell Gaz you OK? Not only does the numpty overtake you on double whites with no visabilty but he then stops in the middle of the road still on double whites obstructing traffic coming over the bridge from behind .

That's a perfect example of a driver in serious need of re-education. He needs to understand the correct way to drive and overtake. More importantly he considers other road users at fault if they slow him down. Yet if his time's so important how can he then afford the time to stop and get agressive. I think it may have gone further without mention of the camera as well.

If you carry that sort of attitude into any situation you have the ability to be an unstable menace to others.

You have to report this and be prepared to go to court. I did it last year and the guy was fined and given a suspended sentence. Makes them think twice the next time they meet a cyclist and one less idiot to content with.
