Hi. Looking for a road bike suitable for my 5'2 (158cm) 15 year old niece. As fancy as I can get but only looking to spend £100 max. Is that possible?
If you are ok with retro, probably not if wanting modern, but you never know, keep an eye on eBay

@biggs682 might be able to help

Just bought a road bike for my 14 year daughter - I paid £350 new, I don't know if you will get much cheaper, however I suspect there would plenty of options on the second hand market. She is around the same size as your niece and she was good with a 45cm frome.

Here you go, you'll need to collect in Durham. Small might not be small enough so confirm with seller / Halfords website

£200-300 really is more realistic, do you expect her to grow more?

You could see if there are any junior roadbikes on eBay to, although she's more likely an XS women frame

There is a triban 3 in the for sale forum for £150, nothing fancy but they get quite good reviews, shpock seems quite good for used bikes, i picked a giant scr up for £90 and a BMC pure pro with shimano 105 for £120. If your patient something will come up

Ignore the manufacturer 'size', compare top tube length, 48cm sounds about the right ballpark if 5'2
