A garden wall with a strange low wall opposite, alongside a pathway in Cockfield. It looks like it could be a miniature railway platform although I'm not sure what it's purpose actually is, a retaining wall maybe? I'm pleased the vegetation has been cut back down here as a few weeks ago it was nettle alley and traversing it in shorts ended up with a hollered stream of profanity :hyper:.

The wall of a grit store beside the road down to The Slack, just up from the railway route which must have gone under a bridge to the right of here. There's a distinct hump in the road there and I wonder if some of the bridge structure is still underneath the roadway. Behind the right hand end of the wooden fence is the old Cockfield Fell station building, now a house.
