I would normally say doing the marathon...but, cheesy or not, producing Arthur Ramsden has surpassed everything I've ever done before. Keeping him alive for three weeks is my secondary great achievement.

An old lady tripped over in Leeds centre. With her elderly husband .
People walked past .I asked if she was ok .I could tell she had damaged her wrist .Took off my tie made a sling .Told her i would call an Ambulance. She insisted in walking .Got her to A -E where she promptly collapsed in my arms infront of the triage nurse.
Never did get my tie back .

She had broken her wrist .

Top of the Col du Lautaret to the youth hostel in Serre Chevalier (12 miles) in under 14 minutes. It's not even steep, you have to pedal nearly all of it and the last km is up a slight hill! With fast ascents of the Col de Granon and Col du Galibier in my legs that day too. Oof!
