Ich bin Powerfrau!
I was pondering t'other day who I'd like to have for a CycleChat dinner party.

I concluded that theclaud would make an excellently interesting guest; Vernon would be great fun at the table with his various incendiary stories, and Ianrauk as the fourth person as he's always good value.

Who would you pick?

Andy in Sig

Patrick Stevens, Flying Monkey, Redcogs, Fab Foodie, RichP, theclaud, Marinyork, probably your good self to set an example of how adults conduct themselves at the table, ditto Wafflycat for the same reason (one at each end in fact and equipped with sticks for the rapping of knuckles) and of course Bonj. I think it would have to be paper plates and plastic cutlery though.

Edit: I forgot Canrider and Gaz.

Cathryn, Cookiemonster, dellzeqq, Gary Askwith, Kirstie, Maz, Patrick Stewart, Redcogs, theclaud, Yenrod.

Just the nicest people I've had the pleasure of being PM'd by, whatever else they post on the forum... there are probably more too.

Righty-ho, I'd probably invite Speicher, Chuffers, Baggy and Admin.
Not met any of them, but I think I'd like to.

Big garden party. Everyone invited. Lots of foods of all sorts, so the carnivores & veggies are catered for: sweet & savory. Lots of booze and non-alcoholic stuff - and tea.. Some live music provided. Big social bike ride round the county. The weather would be sunny, but not too hot. Light breeze that is always a tailwind.

Well, were I to have one for everyone I'd like to invite, I'd need a marquee. Quite a big one...

For a party, Ianrauk definitely if it was going to involve a lot of alcohol. I can imagine he could be a bit of a party animal. I have no basis for this, nevertheless I have a hunch and he could provide the live music. BoaB for the guitar solos and lead air guitar chappie. Richp for the drunken half naked compromising photos and crisp & nut provisions. Sig for the cake obviously (lovely cake on Saturday btw, I ate it in the bath).

I have read far more than I have posted in the few months since I joined CC. I find P&L fascinating and gruesome at the same time.

I dont know people well enough to say who I'd invite but I could come up with a few I would not invite- all in P&L BTW

Oh and all of P & L for brandy and cigar entertainment time!!

If I can bring the rest of the Rhythm Thieves, we'll do some of the music.

Actually, I did have a group of CC'ers round for Tea and Scones after a CC ride, they were remarkably well behaved and very good company...
