Wowbagger in all his bearded glory, bearing down on you with a tray of vol-au-vents and a cheeky grin.

That, Chuffy, is quite an extraordinary image to be pedalling home on!

No it's not. It's racist, homophobic 'jokes' which do that....

Christ I've just realised that having invited Bonj I'd better ask you along too what with you effectively being in the Oddjob role to him these days.

Not the most pleasant thread I've seen on here!

You may as well start a thread called "who don't you like on CC"

It's cliques that lead to bullying and people feeling exempt from things in life. Not a great thread to encourage new members!!!

Eh? It's about people you do like, not people you don't, notwithstanding my slight insinuations in my last post. Virtual dinner parties are no more cliques than real ones are. This looks a bit like paranoia...

If nothing else, you'd want Greedo as your sommelier...

I'd like Tdr1nka as the sommelier - at least I know he wouldn't be drinking it!!!
Actually, the first time I dined chez Trdr1nka we were both in dressing gowns.

I'll just get myself a bag of chips on the way home then....

Gosh. I'd have a big ceilidh - that would break down a few barriers, and everyone would be invited. Flying Monkey would be the caller...he'd have to do it all in his 'terry thomas' voice...

There would be plenty of food too. So that's dinner covered...

I'd prompt him when he forgot his well-rehearsed lines....

Well you lot all have much grander schemes than me - my original dinner party was for four, one of which was me (and none of which were my husband, eek!)

Don't you think that in a larger gathering you wouldn't get the benefit of the wit and interesting conversation of your chosen guests? 'Tis why I picked just three people, all of whom I think would make great dinner party companions.

I'd have to start with a bevvy of beauties and invite all the ladies from CC.;)

You've learnt from CP's mistakes have you and decided not to try listing them. You wouldn't want to upset any of us by missing us off the list!
