Any one bought a bike from Cycle Republic and got any impressions they'd like to share?

Halfords. Like all chains, will vary from branch to branch. Some good, some bad. British cycling membership will get you 10% off

I chatted to a staff member at twickenham. He complained/boasted that he was learning to ride a bike.

So they don't even bother recruiting staff who have the teeniest interest in cycling.

The staff at Lime Street (London) are excellent. I've had some freebies from them as well inc pedals (cheap ones, but still). Haven't bought a bike from them though.

My 13 was bought from Leicester halfords I have no complaints

Had pretty good experiences overall in the 3 London stores that I've visited.

Bought my Boardman Carbon Team from there about a month ago without any issue...aside from them swiftly knocking £150 quid off the price about 2 weeks ago...
