Only about a little over a mile. I've done that a few times, but the last time I was with my sister. We were both slightly worse for wear. It was very cold and my sister was wearing high heels she couldn't walk in. Being the sensible one I had boots on. I had to take my socks off so she could put them on, and then give her a piggy back most of the way home. It was hysterically funny at the time and took us twice as long as normal.
