I'd have to go for the films of Stacy Peralta. (Many years of my youth spent watching and rewatching skateboarding videos)

What would yours be?

Years ago as a kid, a mate of mine bought a book of Mastermind questions. On the works of JRR Tolkien, I only got one question wrong which was something about what do the Elves call October....

I beat one of the Mastermind contestants on his specialist knowledge round one year much to the surprise of my wife. I scored fourteen points on post grouping - pre-nationalisation railways of Britain 1923 - 1948.

I crashed and burned in the general knowledge round.

Thanks for reminding me of the great man.

I loved his stuff.

Ahhh.... I'll need to think of something really geeky and sad-o here! Forget Tolkien, forget Larry Niven, forget Douglas Adams; far too old-hat and too often 'done before'.

Possibly I could swot up on Dreyer's NGC catalogue and answer a few questions - I seem to recall I'm better than some at remembering the numbers. The Q&A session would be excruciatingly boring to those not in the know. But isn't that the point?

Vern........I'm not sure that I'd have mentioned that!

Marcel Proust and The Detailing of Plasterboard (that's two subjects, not one). Followed by the life of Sir John Vanbrugh.

ok. Here's your starter. When did Chelsea last go six league matches without a win?
