A bit warmer up here today 1degC, rising to 5 and a good number of us turned up at the Glen Gates for what was the best cycling day of the year so far, light winds, light white clouds and patches of blue. The only disappointment was with all of yesterdays ice melting the roads were quite mucky. We headed east up the coast to the Three Chimneys Cafe (Fife's own area 51) and got back 75 miles later. We had one mechanical out of the norm, the commonwealth track sprinter with us shook her brake hanger loose, she's that strong in a sprint and it didn't slow her down much 

(I got stuck behind 3 slow tractors), after 20 odd minutes I got the call telling which way they had went to the cafe
To get back on track in the City I stopped and asked a woman hovering her car, is this way to Bridge of Allan, she looked at me as if Br of Allan was miles from North Stirling and unreachable (its only about 2.5 miles
