Errr... one of the downsides of our weekly organic veggie-box. Harmless, so they tell me, but.... ....

Reminds me of the age-old story - set in the 1930s I think:

LITTLE BOY: (at dinner table) Dad?!
DAD: Quiet, boy, no talking at mealtimes, wait till we've finished!
LITTLE BOY: but ... Daaaaddd!!
DAD: I told you to be quiet, son! Now finish eating.
LITTLE BOY: no, but ... Dad? I need to tell you.....
DAD: Did I not order you to be silent?!
(silence prevails until the end of the meal)
DAD: All right son, what was it you were trying to say?
LITTLE BOY: Only that there was a big caterpillar on the lettuce you were eating, Dad...
