Some are excellent, some are just naughty like taking pictures of works when they're half-finished. No, they shouldn't be left in a silly and often unsafe state, and they don't leave motorways like that, but the problem didn't last long.

It could also be a cautionary tale of the ineffectiveness of ridicule alone because few of the examples were fixed as a result of appearing on that website or in the spin-off books. It simply didn't have the clout that "Signs of The Times" used to have, backed by that national newspaper.
