Leicester

• The Guildhall and Cathedral (with the grave/vault of King Richard the 3rd inside)
• New Walk
• National Space Centre
• On the outskirts Bradgate Park (family estate and home of the 9 day Queen)
• Beacon Hill (highest point in the county)

Norwich Castle museum
Sainsbury Centre art gallery
Pub Canoe trip/Whitlingham broad boating centre
Eaton Park minature steam railway
Elm Hill

Can't think of anything of interest in our village, but near by, in Dartford, there are the bronze statues of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

And in Gravesend, the statue of Pocahontas.

There is also a good impressive Roman ruin near Farningham
