Dover Castle, Walmer Castle, the last 25 odd miles of Route One to Dover, the oldest mostly complete medieval town in the country, WWII relics scattered far and wide with excellent museums recalling the Battle of Britain, endless quiet country lanes criss crossing the entire area, superb views of the sea, a Viking replica ship, a fabulous blues music venue to name some highlights. Oh, and Margate if that's your bag.
