A few days ago a text appeared saying a person on my contact list wanted to 'chat' and gave a link on a site called zeechat.me.

When you go on the site it wants you to download an app. Unfortunately the app is reportedly a spam generator that acquires contact details from you and then emails them all without your say-so.

I've not downloaded and will ignore future messages as my contacts can speak to me through other means.

Just wondered what experiences of this others may have had.
