A landmark. Apparently when he told the audience it was their last gig, the band were none the wiser

Still a great album after all these years.

And yes, Mick Ronson was a fantastic guitarist.

Slaughter on 10th Avenue was his solo album of the period although he playe on Bob Dylan, Lou reed, Ian Hunter and a whole lot more besides. Much of Lou Reed's "Transformer" features Mick Ronson.

Mick Ronson was indeed a good guitarist. I could never understand what he was doing with a vacuous posturer like Bowie.

Agreed Andy. Without Mick Ronson Bowie's early career would not of got started.

Ronson is one of my guitar heros, and he produced IMO Morrisey's best solo album 'Your Arsenal'.

That gig is an absolute classic!
