I know one of the developers of Turbotraining.co.uk to a certain degree having been in email contact with him for maybe 18 months or so and via another forum, their website looks pretty good, it is very different to Zwift. Zwift is more game, Turbotraining.co.uk is more like TrainerRoad, a training tool. Although some features overlap to a lesser or greater degree, eg. the multiplayer racing etc.
I got my invite to the Zwift Beta, I haven't tried it yet though, the beta doesn't sound all that exciting though tbh, it is basically a 5km loop you can ride over and over, with other people. TBH, I am not all that bothered about it, I signed up on a whim.
I am not hugely into the entertainment factor when on the turbo, I don't use training video's or other peoples sessions etc because generally I consider them piss poor and or inappropriate but might give one or 2 of these sites/programmes a whirl to pass the time on some longer (4-5 hour) turbo sessions.
