Anyone know how to make prison type alcohol?

@PaulB I know of a place not more than ten miles from you where hooch is being distilled in full public view.... but in such an unexpected way that nobody would ever guess. Could tell you but I have actually been warned to keep my mouth shut!

You shouldn't smoke and should flameproof the electrics in your distillery, or risk being blown up like these guys:

Maybe my use of the word 'distill' was wrong there as I didn't actually know what it meant. I did clarify what I was trying to get across by writing 'filter the residue' in brackets.

I've been led to believe that during the previous depression of 1929-1939, my kinfolk may have had involvement with pochine, until 1932, when it was legal again. Moonshine quite available in the US, properly taxed and all. Tastes like paint thinner smells, and I don't even want to discuss the hangovers. Also removes grease from a bicycle chain.
