Well done Mick. I'm just getting back into the swing myself and am doing an 11 mile loop to get some base fitness back while I shift some lbs as well.

It can be hard to keep things in check and easy to end up pushing too hard/too far/too soon, which is something I've been guilty of too many times, and it only leads to a lack of motivation through exhaustion IME, so I'm determined to take things steady so I can get back to doing 50 milers as a norm.

As for BB30, my CAAD10 had one of the first application of this terrible tech, and I actually converted mine to take Hollowtech II instead and it's been perfect ever since, FWIW I used THIS adapter. That said I'm sure things have improved and following Globalti's tips above would be a logical first step.
