That guy gets a name check in one of the best British rock and roll records of the last 30 years. Not any Johnny Green but that one, the one who wrote the book. He doesn't actually mention it in the book but does mention his friendship with Lee Brilleaux, the former lead singer of Doctor Feelgood who the song is by. The line goes, "Old Johnny Green, he asked me in, we watched his TV and we drank a little gin, then I fall on down the street, smiling at the faces that I meet." Going Back Home, the song is called!
