Yes, it's okay, but even if there is lighter, the compliant ride of the steel frame makes up for it. To be fair, with mudguards, lights and the amount of rubbish I pack in a ruck sack, a kilo here or there is a non-issue.

I don't think they're wide enough for a 38mm tyre. I've not used that specific brand but have some of these: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sks-race-blade-xl-clip-on-mudguard-set/ They're the wide version and will just fit a 32mm tyre. I don't think the Crud Roadracer is any wider than the SKS Race Blade.

It's a Plug. It doesn't have a compliant steel frame! ;)

Hi - I have the same bike, and having just had to fix a rear puncture, I'm now paranoid that I put the nuts on the rear axle incorrectly - you don't have a close up image of them to help me out do you? Especially on the side underneath the gear wire.
