Cycling though The Reading rush hour today on my way to a training course, it started to rain, but very lightly.
Seriously, you could count the raindrops, but this miniscule amount of precipitation led to a mass unfurling of brollies on the part of the foot brigade.
This observation and I can't think why it hadn't occurred to me before, prompted the realisation that I've never actually owned an umbrella.
The rest of my commute was then taken up with thinking about other commonplace things/items I've never owned. The list included:-
Slippers
Tablecloth
Knapkins
Moisturiser
Dustpan and brush set
Car
Dishwasher
Breadbin
Eggwhisk
I'm sure I thought of other things too, but I've forgotten them now, so it can't have been all that important.
So why am I making a post about it?
I dunno.
