considering some new ones.
However, would I be pushing it with some of those large lenses seen on roadies?

Is it purely the looks that you are asking about ?

FWIW - I have to wear prescription specs when cycling - for ages I tried the budget options - but in the end I dropped almost £300 on a pair of Rudy projects - probably one of my best cycling purchases had them a good few years now. Been great.

...or for less than £10. Anti fog, polycarbonate lens, comfortable and wear for general use too!!

Yes, the Bolle anti-mist are worth paying £10.49 for:

Or £11.99 for anti-fog

I presume that Anti-fog are better than Anti-Mist?

Edit:
I'm liking the look of these for £15.99:

Like @kingrollo I have to wear prescription sunnies. I don't get on with lens inserts, so the frame choice to the more traditional narrower frames and not the big-ass ski style ones that seem to be in vogue. My current set are Bolle and they're perfectly fine and robust, but with prescription lenses they cost a few quid more than a tenner 😭 .

I can only assume they are - sounds a bit of a loose description?

TBH, I only started using them as my company chooses them as standard PPE for our industrial sites and I trust my Industrial Safety team to know what they are talking about in terms of impact resistance, UV protection, EN standards, etc, etc. I only get issued the clear ones for work but ordered the smoke lens ones for myself on line. For £10 I find them really comfortable, I can wear them off the bike and I won't be annoyed if they get broken or nicked!!

My cynical side tells me that if they called them Cycling or Sports Glasses they'd market at a much higher price.
