It's ok thanks, am on the coastal plain rather than in the hills, in fact less than 100metres from the sea in a modern 4 storey hotel, so should be fine, maybe 60 miles or so from the epicentre. But it's a very weird sensation and a little disconcerting!

If I was worried enough I'd put the car on the beach snd sleep in it. The locals seem relatively unperturbed.

The Beeb are reporting that the two earthquakes you had were still aftershocks from the bigger one in August.

Apparently aftershocks can occur months after the initial event.

So quite when it become an earthquake in its own right rather than an aftershock I'm not too sure.
