What denomination would you stop and pick up?

I reckon that would vary depending on traffic conditions but on a busy route a five pound note but in a traffic free area a pound coin.

Stop and get off the bike ? - paper I think. Not sure I would see a £1 coin.

50p, assuming i saw it in time...

its well worth stopping for such things though, my brother in law has (on different occasions) found me a 115 pound pair of oakley sunglasses, and a jip up filofax size bag, with 360 pound cash, and a couple of gold necklaces (heavy ones, like a 1 ounce, and a 2 ounce) - not to be sniffed at.... and as it had no address/name or anything, and was found alongside a dual carriageway, whats the point of handing it to police???

Walking I'd probably pick up anything over 20p but on the bike it would have to be £1 plus and it would depend upon the conditions and me spotting it in time.

I would if I see it in time? the last time I spied a pound in the road I was 100yards from it buy the time I had stopped as I was going 26+mph. Was it worth it?
