I owe you an explanation. I don't think I'll be coming north until after March 26th. The Dr. Bike thing is proving both neccessary and protracted.

Thank you Simon. No worries about your journey north, we've still got plenty of time and the weather will be (hopefully) nicer into April. Good luck with your Dr. Bike.

Just a heads-up for the wimpy riders - you can now pre-book your return from Brighton to London with a bicycle reservation (might be needed!) for only £3 or even £2 if you have a railcard here: http://www.southernrailway.com/

Oi! There's nothing wimpy about taking the train back, I just like to save my strength for more important things, like lying on the sofa when I get home.

Although beware if you're stocking up on multiple train tickets on the Southern web site, as I got the following comment:-

You have now made the maximum allowed number of purchases today (2). You will not be able to purchase any more tickets today.

There was also a requirement to wait 3 minutes between the purchases!

GregCollins A fixed gear is a harsh mistress.

^^ that may be the one where number one son had breakfast whilst jordan was passed out on an adjoining table. He was dressed as a giant gray squirrel and ended up on a tabloid page or two in the background of the pap shots.

    "WE PROMOTE SENSIBLE DRINKING!"

I thought I was pissed just looking at it, with that horrible swirly thing that follows your mouse around. That's not just me, is it?

It means, Young Walnuts, that emininently sensible people like myself, Ian and Teef get wine to drink, while you get crisps and lemonade. ;)

Don't usually indulge, but wouldn't like to let you down. Besides, Davywalnuts needs us to make sure he finds his way to the station... :girl:

Adrian And fyi nobody thinks im a troll actually.

It might be considered rude not to, especially if we are in a position to celebrate a successful ride.
