Somehow I've found myself signed up for this ride - I think it might have something to do with the bottle of Jaipur* and the half-bottle of very nice Spanish red that Waitrose forced me to buy yesterday, and the fact that Mrs W chose that exact post-dinner moment to tell me that her free Saturday next week is no longer free.

Which is fine, except I've committed to a dinner out in Heathrow on Thursday night (as a guest), a dinner out in London on Friday night (as the host) - both curries - and I'm currently planning to be away from home from Tuesday to Thursday. I'm beginning to think that rearranging my Friday morning meeting so that I can spend Thursday at home, and driving home from Thursday night rather than getting a lift might be a good idea.

Advice gratefully received.
