How do you do that strikeout thing on text?

When other people get beaten to the post, they sometimes edit their messages by 'striking out' text, whereas I just have to pull mine. How do you do it?

There's a strikethrough icon on the tags line (it's the S with a line through it) or you can do it manually by putting tags around your text like so --> {s}blah blah blah{/s} except that you'll need to replace the wiggly brackets with square ones [].

I'm not politically able to do that.

You would have to go to "edit" - as in your own post, and then go "advanced" , so you can do it!
