I figure after commuting the same route for so many years, you'd know where the ruts and potholes are. But the drivers are far more variable in their driving.

They don't grit the roads around our house in winter, so all of my recent offs (only two low-speed slideouts - but a few close shaves) have been on icy patches. Not looking forward to winter!!
